Call for Proposals:
The Office of Arts & Culture is seeking call for proposals for all art forms and disciplines for arts and cultural programming at the black box theater located at the Pleasant Grove Branch Library, 7310 Lake June Road, Dallas, Texas 75217. A proposal can be for an individual programmatic activity such as a visual arts class or a series of workshops. Proposals will be considered for the following dates and times:
- June 13, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- June 15, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- June 17, 2023 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- June 20, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- June 22, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- June 24, 2023 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- June 27, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm
- June 29, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- July 1, 2023 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- July 5, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- July 6, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm
- July 8, 2023 – 9:30 am to 12:30 pm
- July 11, 2023 – 1:30 pm to 4:30 pm

Eligibility: Applicants must reside within the city limit of Dallas and provide proof of residency. Additionally, preference will be given to Dallas-based artists working and/or residing in Dallas City Council District 5.
Submission guidelines:
Please submit a minimum 150-word description with a fee proposal, including organizational mission (applicable for arts and cultural organizations and may not be applicable for individual artists), proposed artist(s) and/or project, and if any previous experience working with Dallas arts and cultural venues and/or organizations. (Previous experience working with arts and cultural venues and/or organizations is not a requirement for consideration for this call for proposals.) The suggested duration of an event, class, workshop and/or other programmatic activity should be no more than 2 hour maximum block of time. Submissions will be accepted beginning on June 2, 2023
Submission deadline is June 11, 2023
Please note proposals will be considered on an ongoing basis as they are submitted. The OAC encourages interested individual artists, arts and cultural organizations, and cultural producers to submit their proposals as soon as possible.
Please note that all Dallas Public Library guidelines and regulations must be observed at all times.
