Celebrate the vibrant arts and culture of Dallas with the City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture at the inaugural 214 Day: Show Love for Dallas! This special event is all about showcasing the rich cultural spirit of the city through creativity, community, and connection. Join us for an unforgettable day of light bitesentertainment, and interactive artistic experiences

Dallas Community Quilt Activity:

Be a part of something bigger by contributing to a collaborative quilt celebrating Dallas unity. You can personalize a quilt square at any of our participating cultural centers now through January 31, 2025. These individual squares, full of creativity and personal expression, will come together to create a stunning visual piece of unity. The final quilt will be unveiled during the 214 Day event on 2/14/2025.


Drop by one of these cultural centers to create your quilt square:

  • Bath House Cultural Center (521 E. Lawther Dr.) | Tue – Sat: 12 – 6 p.m.
  • Latino Cultural Center (2600 Live Oak St.) | Tue – Sat: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
  • Oak Cliff Cultural Center (223 W Jefferson Blvd.) | Tue – Sat: 12 – 6 p.m.
  • South Dallas Cultural Center (3400 S. Fitzhugh Ave.) | Tue – Sat: 9 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Prefer to work on your quilt square from home? No problem! You can download the quilt square template, personalize it, and drop it off at any of the participating cultural centers.
