OCA On The Go – Launching in April

City of Dallas Office of Arts and Culture

City of Dallas, Office of Cultural Affairs announces new “OCA On The Go” events to meet artists in their communities

The launch of OCA On the Go in Dallas Arts Month aims to increase artist access to resources

As part of its work to increase support for artists in Dallas, the City of Dallas’s Office of Cultural Affairs (OCA) will begin “office hours” around Dallas starting in April.  While OCA staff are available to answer questions via phone, email, and in-person at their headquarters in the Majestic Theatre and at the four Cultural Centers, they understand that it’s not always easy or convenient for artists to visit during business hours.  As a new Dallas Cultural Plan initiative starting in April (Dallas Arts Month), OCA On The Go will have OCA staff travel to different locations around Dallas on three separate dates to meet artists where they live, work, and convene.  Artists are welcome to come and share their thoughts, ask questions, muse on the power of art, and help the OCA learn more at these free walk-in events!

The times and locations of the April OCA On The Go open sessions are:

Thursday, April 4th from 1pm – 4pm at Goldmark Cultural Center | 13999 Goldmark Dr, Dallas, TX 75240 (Facebook Event linked here)
