Upcoming NEA Grant Opportunities
The Office of Cultural Affairs is pleased to share grant opportunities from the National Endowment for the Arts (the NEA) for 501(c)(3) arts organizations and artists. As part of the Dallas Cultural Plan, initiative 21B under the Sustainable Arts Ecosystem priority calls for the Dallas ecosystem to pursue funds through other government agencies such as the NEA.
The first deadline for organizations applying for an Art Works grant is February 14th. Other submission deadlines are below; please see the linked websites for full details on how to apply and the types of projects funded.
Opportunities and submission deadlines for artists:
Creative Writing Fellowships: $25,000 non-matching grants (link)
- First deadline: March 6, 2019
Opportunities and submission deadlines for arts organizations:
First Art Works Deadline: $10,000 to $100,000 grants with a minimum cost share/match (link)
- First deadline: February 14, 2019
Challenge America: $10,000 grants with a minimum cost share/match (link)
- First deadline: April 11, 2019
Second Art Works Deadline: $10,000 to $100,000 grants with a minimum cost share/match (link)
