Downtown Dallas Parking Meters
The Public Art Program of the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs requests the submission of qualifications from artists or artist teams to work with the City of Dallas and the Downtown Dallas community to create a functional design for 150 poles of single head parking meters to be placed along the Farmer’s Market/City Hall/Citylab High School and the West End. Parking meter designs should relate to the location, taking inspiration from the people, history landmarks, and overall creative spirit of Downtown Dallas. Artist Terry Hays, who completed Parking Meter designs for Deep Ellum, will serve as the project leader and mentor for artists selected for the project. Learn More
