Just one more day in the life of a suicidal/homicidal maniac and his mother, this double bill includes Dan Guyton’s Georgie Gets a Facelift, a black comedy about an underachieving momma’s boy with a vision and the girl scout who stands in his way, and Kurt Kleinmann’s devilishly delicious prequel that asks the question, "Just how far will one girl scout go to sell a box of cookies?"

The Drama ClubECHO THEATRE
Bible Women
by Elizabeth Swados with additional text by Vicki Caroline Cheatwood

Directed by Pam Myers-Morgan. Featuring Denise Lee, Annie Benjamin, Teri Ferguson, Jodi Wright and Amy Hughes.
Several of the Bible’s most intriguing characters are brought to life in this contemporary song cycle that fuses world music, jazz, gospel, and pop.  At times both spiritual and secular, Bible Women celebrates all women and explores the universality of their battles, sorrows, victories and contemplations.  Featured in the songs and text are Esther, Ruth and Naomi, Deborah, Sarah, Lilith, and Miriam.

ECHO THEATRE
McCLAREY PLAYERS
Purgatory, a Bedroom Farce * by Cliff McClelland

ONE THIRTY PRODUCTIONSONE THIRTY PRODUCTIONS
The Turquoise Pontiac * by Ellsworth Schave
Directed by Larry Randolph. Featuring Shane Beeson, Morgan Justiss, Elias Taylorson and Dan Tillman.
The Turquoise Pontiac, a companion piece to Mr. Schave’s Under a Texaco Canopy, tells the tale of a traveler on his way to the newly opened Disneyland in the summer of 1955.  As he crosses the desert he encounters three extraordinary people who may change his life forever.  Or perhaps it is he who will forever change their lives.

PEGASUS THEATRE
SECOND THOUGHT THEATRE
Once More, With Feeling (A Power Play) by Christina Cigala
Directed by Mac Lower. Featuring Sachin Patel, Jason Robert Villareal, Tiffany Lonsdale-Hands, Cara Reid and Matt Clark.
A woman’s quest to find her voice and courage, Once More, With Feeling is the tale of one couple’s breakup intertwined with the urban legend of a snake and its owner.  As Chloe’s relationship uncoils and she battles through reason, logic and justification with her belligerent beau, she must face the harsh realization that her companionship may no longer be mutually beneficial. The snake begins to stretch, as do the limits of her relationship. A story about the devourer and the devouree. Who will eat whom first?

RITE OF PASSAGE THEATRE COMPANYTHE DRAMA CLUB
The Muse * by Jeffrey Schmidt
Directed by Lydia Mackay. Featuring Anastasia ‘Tasia’ Munoz, Lulu Ward, John M. Flores, Marayam Baig Lush and Newton Pittman.
The Muse discovers a child on the cusp of the monumental transformation into adulthood. The two worlds collide like a storm surge against the breakers as the Muse explores a newfound sexuality and its inherent delights and dangers. An imaginative and theatrical journey, the story is a blend of myth, fantasy, sex and fashion.

WHITE ROCK POLLUTION
WHITE ROCK POLLUTION
Alice in Wonderland
based on the production by Andre Gregory and the Manhattan Project
Directed by Tom Parr IV. Featuring Danielle Pickard, Randy Pearlman, Brian Witkowicz, Ben Bryant and Clay Wheeler.
A familiar tale with a surprising twist, all of your favorite characters are here—but with an arresting difference. From the presumed innocence of the original is drawn a caustic and giddy revelation of the human psyche and the dark, unsettling shadows which can linger there. Freud and Jung, Kafka and Dali, all make their presences felt, in a piece of pure theatre that is full of truth, fun, terror and uncanny pertinence to our own topsy-turvy times.

WINGSPAN THEATRE COMPANY
WINGSPAN THEATRE COMPANY
Feeding the Moonfish by Barbara Wiechmann
Directed by Susan Sargeant. Featuring Josh Glover and Barrett Nash.
Set on an isolated dock in southern Florida, this dreamscape play tells the story of two unlikely companions, Martin and Eden.  Both running from a past that is destined to catch up with them, our couple share a not so chance encounter that leads to an unlikely friendship.  Together, under the spell of moonlight, night and water, they form a powerful bond and demonstrate that an unexpected moment between strangers can change everything.

FIT 2010 is sponsored by the Bath House Cultural Center and the City of Dallas Office of Cultural Affairs. FIT was created in 1999 as an outlet for smaller companies without a permanent performance space to give them an opportunity to produce seldom seen, new, or avant-garde works. FIT exists to promote awareness and growth of Dallas area theatre through collaboration, participation and cultivation.
